The ShoeShine, Somerville's most happenin' Blues Club, is pleased to announce a special event for one night only!

On Saturday May 27, 2000 The ShoeShine will be honored to host an evening of Rock and Blues with:

The Montgomery Muckrakers!!

All the way from the deepest parts of the deep south (Reading, MA), the Montgomery Muckrakers, will bring to our stage their vast repetoire of the greatest acoustic rock and the hottest of hot smokin' blues.

This special event will begin with a reception at The ShoeShine, located at 48 Warner Street, right on the Somerville/Medford line, followed by a special concert by the band. Festivities will get rolling around 8 o'clock in the PM. Please come dressed as you would for any other southern blues club, and bring all the rye whisky you can get your hands on (at the very least, bring a little booze for the band)!

We don't serve punch and pie at the ShoeShine, but there's a good chance you might find some fried chicken!
